About Phippin's Cabinetry & Renovations

Since 1974, Phippin's Cabinetry & Renovations has been satisfying customers on the Delmarva Peninsula. What began as a small business serving the local community, is now a thriving company providing cabinetry and renovations in Southern Delaware and along the Eastern Shore.

Our founder, George Phippin, is a Vietnam-era Navy veteran. Mr. Phippin was born and raised in the community he still serves today. He knows Southern Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore like the back of his hand. He’s watched it grow from a small area to a booming tourist destination.

Mr. Phippin opened his company in 1974, building custom homes. He worked out of his home for nearly 20 years, growing his business every year and gaining the reputation of being a knowledgeable and skilled contractor. 

In 1993, Mr. Phippin opened his first cabinet showroom in Hebron, MD. This showroom was opened to give customers the ability to purchase the custom cabinetry and countertops he had been fabricating and installing in all of his new homes.

In 2001, he relocated his showroom to Salisbury, MD to better serve his clientele. The showroom was then relocated in November 2012 to Rehoboth Beach, DE, where it currently resides on Route 1 in Rehoboth Beach just south of the canal bridge.

Mr. Phippin has always known that his best advertising is his satisfied customers. When considering a home project, he knows that most potential customers will ask friends and neighbors who they used.
